Tata Chemicals shares fall after results

Mumbai: Shares of Tata Chemicals on Tuesday dropped nearly 4 per cent or Rs35.5 to trade at Rs911.1 after the company reported a net loss of Rs21 crore for the third quarter (Q3) ending December 2024. Tata Chemicals’ revenue from operations declined by 3.8 per cent to Rs3,590 crore in Q3 compared to Rs3,730 crore in the same quarter last year (Q3 FY24).The company also saw a sharp decline in its operating performance, with EBITDA falling by 19.9 per cent to Rs434 crore from Rs542 crore a year ago. The EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 12.1 per cent, down from 14.5 per cent in the previous year’s corresponding quarter. EBITDA refers to earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation.

Tiger Logistics India PAT at Rs 8.42 cr

New Delhi: Tiger Logistics (India) Ltd on Tuesday reported over twofold rise in consolidated profit after tax at Rs8.42 crore for December quarter, helped by increased deliveries. It had posted Rs3.68 crore profit after tax (PAT) for the year-ago quarter, the company said in an exchange filing. Total revenues increased over threefold to Rs160.46 crore from Rs51.95 crore in October-December FY24. Delivery volumes expanded by 27.8 per cent to 16,711 TEUs (twenty foot equivalent units) in Q3 FY25, compared to 13,071 TEUs in Q3 FY24. Air transport volumes also more than doubled to 95,290 kilogram as opposed to 43,396 kilogram in Q3 FY24. CMD Harpreet Singh Malhotra said during the period, the company entered into strategic partnerships with government organizations like HPCL, BHEL and BEML.

MobiKwik clocks huge 1,000% loss

Mumbai: One MobiKwik Systems Limited on Tuesday reported a huge 1,000 per cent consolidated net loss at Rs55 crore in the December quarter (Q3 FY25), as compared to the net profit of Rs5 crore from the same period last year (Q3 FY24). The revenue from operations also declined by 7 per cent quarter-on-quarter from Rs291 crore in the July-September period, according to its exchange filing. The company’s total income in Q3 FY25 stood at Rs2,744.69 crore with a 6.5 per cent decline from Rs2,936 crore in Q2 FY25. Meanwhile, total expenses surged by 10.55 per cent in Q3FY25 at Rs3,171.41 crore compared to Rs2,868.64 crore in Q2 FY25.

Tata Power net profit up 10% to Rs 1,188 cr

New Delhi: Tata Power on Tuesday posted a 10 per cent on-year rise in consolidated net profit to Rs1,188 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2024 on higher revenues. It had reported a Rs1,076 crore consolidated net profit in the quarter ended December 31, 2023, the company said in a statement. The company’s total income also rose to Rs15,793 crore in the quarter under review, from Rs15,294 crore in the same period a year ago. “We have delivered a sustained PAT growth trajectory over the last 21 quarters and all our businesses have been contributing to this growth,” said Praveer Sinha, CEO and Managing Director, Tata Power.
